Many dental problems don't cause pain in their early stages. Dental X-rays allow your dental team to see areas that can't be detected during a visual exam.

🔎 X-rays can help detect:
• Cavities between teeth or beneath existing restorations
• Bone loss associated with gum disease
• Infections or abscesses
• Problems with developing or impacted teeth
• Changes around tooth roots
• Cysts or other abnormalities

The goal of dental X-rays isn't to take them unnecessarily—it's to help your dentist detect problems early, when they may be easier to treat. No pain doesn't always mean no problem! Regular exams and appropriate X-rays are an important part of preventive dental care. 🦷✨
