Thanks to the help of lots of volunteers, we are making good progress on the new 200 ft of boardwalk!

Reconstruction of the 200' of boardwalk toward the Subaru dealership has begun with demolition of the old boardwalk! We prefer that you stay off this section of trail until the project is complete. If you do go that way, please be careful.

Volunteers needed!

We a replacing the boardwalk that leads to the Subaru dealership and need lots of volunteers starting next Thursday. Volunteer crews will be out there starting at 9:30am every day Thursday - Sunday of next week. The weather looks great!

No construction experience needed, as we need people to carry and hold as well as construct. Thankfully, Stivers Subaru is allowing us to deliver lumber to their lot so we have a shorter distance to go.

All you need to do is show up and bring gloves!

A small crew got some stuff done at the preserve today.. trash and nandina out, live stakes in (black willow, hopefully they will grow to protect the stream bank). Grateful to everyone who helped and esp. to Dave Long for his guidance and assistance.

Thanks to the large group of volunteers who moved an entire truckload of mulch, cleared the entire curb line on Pine Bluff, and cut down a huge pile of bamboo!
