They think my alternator is going out on the van, the dealership told me the soonest they can get it in to be looked at is Wednesday. I asked if I keep on driving and working if it would hurt anything and they told me they could not diagnose that over the phone….

So the light came on yesterday, I’m just going to try my best to make it through until the van decides to die. 🤷🏼‍♀️

With the new school year fastly approaching, at this time I am unable to add on any NEW clients at the moment.
I would like to kindly ask if you have an appointment coming up to please keep it, I have gotten a lot of rescheduling lately ( in case you were wondering why your appointment times have changed )and it takes a lot of time out of my day to try and find an appropriate appointment spot to make the routes make sense. I can’t keep squeezing another groom in on an already full day. Diesel prices are climbing once again and I’m trying really hard to keep my routes tight so I don’t have to have another price increase.

I don’t do this job to get rich. I do it because I love what I do and I’m able to provide for my son.

Let’s just say the rv place that promised me I would have batteries installed today played with my time!!! I have been calling them all day!😡 option #2 was going to South Carolina in the morning and getting them from the van engineer😩
But
My dad came home from his hunting camp and he knows a guy who knows a guy who had batteries for me within an hour!!! And my dad is currently hooking them up! Big shout out to Rosser Battery thank you for helping me out!

Wednesday evening, I started experiencing some technical issues with the van, the final verdict was that the batteries that power all of my equipment had finally kicked the dust. And of course, these batteries are not an easy thing to find, but luckily, yesterday afternoon, I found someone locally and he will have them on the delivery truck Monday for me to pick up and have him install. 🤞🤞🤞 so far this is going to have me behind three working days, so if your appointment times are moved around next week that is why.

As I approach five years of owning my mobile dog grooming business, I’ve been reflecting a lot on this journey and wanted to share something personal with the people who have supported me through it all.

When I decided to start this business, I was so excited and full of hope for what was ahead. I ordered my grooming van and had to wait nearly two months while it was being built before I could officially begin. During that last month of waiting, my grandfather was placed on hospice, and I spent every spare minute I had with him. My goal through all of it was to make him proud and build something meaningful for my family. He passed away just two weeks before I had to pick up my van and officially start my business.

Since then, it feels like every year has brought another season of grief and loss — losing my Papaw, my Grandmother, my mother, my best friend, and even my dog. There have been many moments where I’ve had to keep showing up while quietly carrying heartbreak behind the scenes.

As a small business owner and single mom, there have been times I struggled to stay on top of everything, especially responding to messages as quickly as I wanted to. I’ve always been incredibly hard on myself about that because I care deeply about my clients and the experience I provide. Sometimes I worry people just see someone overwhelmed or “having too many issues,” when in reality I’ve simply been doing my best to survive some really heavy seasons while still keeping my business going.

I just want my clients to know how grateful I truly am for your patience, kindness, loyalty, referrals, and support over these last five years. Every appointment has helped support my family and helped me continue a dream that honestly carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life. Thank you for trusting me with your pets and for sticking beside me through every chapter of this journey. I appreciate all of you more than words can express.❤️❤️❤️
