Starting to think about renovations to our 1920’s Edwardian home in Hartselle. Absolutely love my first purchase 🧡 🧡 🧡 Hand painted and signed Italian tiles. Thinking one of the bathrooms? Walls coral and ceiling that pretty green? Peas and carrots as sweet Peggy used to say!

Again I SO appreciate all the input (and especially the encouragement to “go for it!”) Showing the two ceilings we papered behind the building process and a pic of what I have ordered for the kitchen. I think it will take away the boredom but not be too much. Stay tuned for updates!

Okay I really would love input! Trying to decide whether to paper the kitchen ceiling? I really wanted to do this during the construction phase but was afraid it might be too much. Seventeen months of living here and I think my kitchen ceiling is a little boring:. Your thoughts?

I get asked every day without fail-how do you like your cottage. And every day I have to admit that I love it! How could I not? Sunrises over the pasture every morning that remind me of God’s goodness. Fresh eggs from my new friend Michelle, learning to make bread (Michelle again). So very grateful for this new season ❤️ living
