💪🏾 Beyond proud of Mr. K this week. When you commit to the work, sometimes it gets boring and sometimes it’s hard AF just to show up — but the desire to LIVE says otherwise.
This couldn’t have happened when he first started back in December. The goal now is to make the walking staff a passive tool of support, and not his primary point of stability.

💪🏾 — Adding elevators under your heel increases the range of ankle mobility, allows for a deeper glute stretch and some adductor (inner thigh) engagement as well.
For long femur’s folks … these definitely help in accessing the stretch in the hamstrings.

‼️‼️ When your shoulders aren’t stable on the bench, the system breaks down — stability is lost, performance drops, and injury risk goes up.
Barbell Bench Hip Thrust Cues
• Upper back anchored on the bench
• Scapula steady … no shrugging !!
• Hands wide, pulling the bar into the hips
• Feet rooted, shins close to vertical
• Knees track over mid-foot
• Ribs down, pelvis tucks, glutes finishes it off
• 💰 Full hip extension, not a low-back arch
• Control the descent, reset, repeat
Stability is key. Don’t forfeit it just to get to a heavier weight.
