Today we get to celebrate the heart of SDC Fine Arts Academy - our incredible Mrs. Lewis! ❤️

If you know Mrs. Lewis, you know she’ll never be the loudest person in the room… but her impact speaks LOUDLY. She is calm, compassionate, patient, thoughtful, and has this incredible way of meeting each little scholar exactly where they are. She celebrates the tiny victories, encourages them through the hard moments, and creates a classroom where our kiddos know they are safe, loved, and capable of BIG things. 🍎

This year, we’re focused on GROWING FORWARD — and we truly couldn’t ask for a better teacher to help our scholars do just that. 🌱

She plants the seeds.
She gives them room to grow.
She cheers on every new leaf.
And little by little, we get to watch our scholars BLOOM. 🌸

Mrs. Lewis, we hope you know just how special you are to our Academy family. We are incredibly grateful for the love you pour into our scholars, the dedication you give our program, and the calm you somehow maintain in a room full of tiny humans. 😂❤️

Today marks the very first page of our 2026–2027 SDC Fine Arts Academy story — and what a sweet little group we get to write it with! ❤️

This year, we hope our scholars explore with curiosity, discover just how much they're capable of, create without fear, and find every opportunity to SHINE in their own unique way. ✨

There will be letters learned, numbers counted, masterpieces created, songs sung, friendships made, big questions asked, mistakes celebrated, confidence built, and SO much growing along the way.

Today is only Day ONE. Just imagine who these little scholars will be by the time we take this picture again at the end of the year. 🥹

Hi, SDC families! I’m so excited to officially introduce myself to both returning and new families joining us this year!

My name is Mrs. Amber Lewis, and I have the privilege of teaching at SDC Fine Arts Academy. As we begin another school year, I can’t wait to welcome your little ones into a classroom where they’ll be loved, encouraged, celebrated, and challenged to grow every single day.

Teaching isn’t just my job, it’s truly my heart. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, important, and capable, and I’m honored that you trust me with such a special part of their journey.

At SDC Fine Arts Academy, we believe the best classrooms begin with caring teachers - and Mrs. Lewis is exactly that.

With years of experience in Early Childhood and Special Education, Mrs. Lewis has a calm, nurturing presence that helps every scholar feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. She has a special gift for meeting children where they are and encouraging them to grow with confidence.

When she's not in the classroom, you'll likely find her spending time with her family, sipping a good cup of coffee, exercising, or counting down to her favorite seasons - Fall and Christmas! ☕🍂🎄

We are so thankful she'll be welcoming another class of little scholars this year, and we can't wait for our families to get to know her!
