First Air Conditioner: The modern air conditioner was invented by Willis Carrier in 1902 to control humidity in a printing plant, not for comfort but to prevent paper from wrinkling and ink from running.

⏳ It’s hard to believe it’s already been a little over two years since we built the newest exhibit at Cook Museum of Natural Science!

Time has truly flown by, and it’s been incredible to see it become such a fun, hands-on space for kids and families to explore, learn, and play. Knowing that so many children have enjoyed it makes the hard work behind it even more meaningful.
