There is an old phrase my grandma loved to use when life was chaotic (or when people were acting, shall we say, chaotically). She would say, “They’re just running around like a chicken with its head cut off.” ….disoriented, reactive, panicked, frenzied… moving but not truly alive. Animated, yet somehow disconnected from their center.

2 Corinthians 13:14 is one of those.
Paul isn’t just signing off a letter. He’s not saying goodbye. He’s speaking a kind of apostolic blessing… a triune invitation… a lived theology in a single sentence….
