Tiny previews of the Bitter premiere gift bags. A few of these will be tucked into the premiere bags at Cross-Eyed Owl on June 27th… along with other bookish nonsense I was powerless to resist!

The proof of Bitter has arrived. The book still isn't completely corrected. I'm waiting on beta feedback. It's technically unfinished.

But holding a story in your hands before it officially belongs to the world never gets old. I mean, look at her. She's so freaking pretty.

Mostly, I wanted to make sure the cover worked with the page count correctly. And boy, does it.

Doing a little light reading/research tonight. I’ve officially chosen the next book I’m writing, and I was craving fresh insight into the mind of a killer. (It’s been a few years since Shadow Hunter, y’all.)

Also, I love that I have a friend twisted enough to loan me this book in the first place.

I swear, I have so many things on back burners, it's a lucky thing my life hasn't just burned down around my ears. Seriously.

Multiple book plots jostling for my attention. A short story/poetry compilation. Conventions/events. Home restoration... and now a course on paranormal suspense writing?

Because why tf not, I guess. Who needs sleep?

BITTER is officially available for pre-order!!

There are witches. There are gods. And as usual, Murphy is out of patience... and running out of time.

This is book four in The Murphy Blackwell Chronicles, but it was written to work as a stand-alone for new readers, too. So if you’ve been waiting for a good place to jump into my supernatural Southern stories, this is as good a chance as any.

Pre-orders help indie authors more than most people realize, and I’m excited to share this one with y’all. It wound up not being the book I planned to write, but I think I love this version even more than the original script.

Florence’s door is back on its hinges. Woot!

Unfortunately, I caught the crud. Home improvements are paused until my body can fully function.
