I created my own private practice based on real feedback from clients I worked with inside the hospital. The frustrations of having to explain diagnoses and procedures and feeling misunderstood. Medically-informed therapists do exist! I brought support from inside the hospital into families’ homes. Removing the burden of explaining terminology, environments, or even equipment- goes a long way!
