June 2005: My first Sunday as the new student minister's wife at Mount Zion Baptist Church. I'm heading to my Sunday School room and see in the hallway the cutest pregnant girl who looked to be about my age. Turned out that her baby was due in October, and mine would be due in February. What I didn't know then is that the cute pregnant girl would turn out to be one of my favorite and truest friends over the next 18 years (and counting). I also could never have imagined that 18 years later I'd be photographing that sweet baby's senior pictures. Kennedy, you're AMAZING. Can't wait to see what's up ahead for you! ❤
