Really nice thinking about hosting a live discussion on Friday to talk about the election results after folks had time to process it. There are some things that need to be said and discussed.

Election Day is finally here, but truth be told… this nation’s underlying issues will still remain.

I truly believe that most of us have no malicious intent as we voice and express what we think is best for the country and for one another. True, some of the opinions and positions we hold are often either poorly defended, wrapped in emotion, tainted with a bit of misinformation, but overall rooted in good intentions.

We’ve lost the ability to have a dialogue with one another, and to be okay with having differences of opinion without descending into character assassination. We listen with the intent to argue instead of listening to understand. Sadly, we’ve fallen into an us vs them mentality and that’s what weakens us as a country.

The moment we stop looking at each other as enemies, and decide to work together to improve our country despite our differences is when we will truly begin to live up to our potential.

Until then, the divide will only widen as we buy into the division being sown between us. And who knows maybe we can’t cease having to pick between the lesser of two evils every election?

Life in Christ goes beyond "not going to Hell."

There are so many benefits involved being a Christian, but all most of us really focus on is not going to hell, blessings, and material things.

It is such a shame that we constantly forfeit what is offered to us because lack of knowledge of what it really means to be alive in Christ.

Christ is returning for a pure and spotless Church.

He is currently stirring the hearts of some believers to go further up and further in. We’ve lingered outside for far too long. It’s time to press further. To explore His depths.

There has been something, a concept, a series of thoughts and questions that God has been echoing in my mind and spirit for the last month or so.

I cannot shake it.
I can barely focus on anything else, and when I try to, I'm redirected back to focusing on these questions:

What does it mean to be a Christian? What does it truly mean to have The Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us? What does it mean for us to be conformed into the likeness of Christ? What does it mean to be adopted into God's family? What does it mean to be partakers of God's divine nature? What does it mean to be made in God's image and likeness, and why is the forces of hell so determined to entice us from accepting and walking in the fullness of our divine inheritance, forfeiting our birthright to appease our carnal appetites like Esau had done?

And so many more thoughts...

I texted a bunch of people a passage in 2 Peter 1 to see if they saw what I did because that's what set me on this path. I also spoke to a few others about what I have been feeling and thinking, and they shared that they were in the same place I'm in and having similar thoughts and questions.

On Friday, my boy Marlon and I will go Live to talk about these things and so much more.

We hope to see you guys there, and I'm looking forward to the edifying conversations we will have. I'm certain that there's plenty of you out there having the same thoughts stirring within you too.

The Trinity is a complicated doctrine for many to grasp.

“Hear O’ Israel, The Lord your God is One.”

YHWH is God
Jesus is God
The Holy Spirit is God.

They are Three Persons in One Being.

When you see The Angel of The Lord in The Old Testament, you are actually seeing the pre-incarnate Christ. The Angel of The Lord is the only angel that speaks as if He is God. There’s so much contained within the scriptures. I love how revelatory it is.

Thank You, Holy Spirit.

I fear that us Christians don’t walk in the fullness of all that God desires to give us. And because of that, I also think we see a lack of demonstration of power within our churches presently.

The power, authority and confidence the Apostles and Early Church walked in is different compared to what we walk in today.

This thought has been on my mind for the last week, and I’m still sifting through it.

Everything that has a beginning has an end. Nothing begets nothing. Nothing cannot produce anything.

God is eternal and self-existent. He has no beginning nor an end.
