Creating Hope International (CHI) a 501(c) 3 - works with grass roots organizations in Afghanistan and India empowering people to help themselves

Creating Hope International (CHI) was founded in 1996 by Carolyn "Toc" Dunlap and Dr. Sakena Yacoobi. It is a Michigan based, non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. CHI works to help people improve their lives and communities. We work with grassroots organizations that operate in Afghanistan, India and also support the development of private health, education and media enterprises in Afghanistan. Our role is to empower communities to help themselves.
