The Best ILEA Vendor Partnership award goes to E3 Detroit, Kristina's Catering, and Live Nation Michigan - The Fillmore Detroit. Their collaboration on The Royale Open House at The Fillmore Detroit was a masterclass in what happens when the right vendors show up for each other. Over 300 guests were treated to a fully immersive royal court experience — powered by E3 Detroit’s high-energy entertainment, Kristina’s Catering’s interactive culinary stations, and a sophisticated beverage program from the venue. What could have been a standard open house became a regal celebration, and it only happened because these three teams operated as one.

The Event Planning awards celebrate the teams behind the corporate and social events that raised the bar — where flawless ex*****on met genuine creativity and every detail served a purpose.

The Best Corporate or Social Event Over $50,000 goes to Special D Events. In just 90 days, they conceptualized and executed “Farewell & Forward” — a landmark leadership transition celebration for the Ford Foundation at the iconic Michigan Central Station. The evening wove together stunning experiential design, including an AI-inspired floral arch and a custom split-flap display, with a heritage-driven menu that honored the moment. And when the night was over, the impact didn’t stop — every floral installation was donated to the Charles H. Wright Museum, turning a beautiful event into a meaningful one.
