Did you know that Giuseppe Verdi has a permanent home at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center? 🏛️🎭
In September 2001, on the occasion of the theater’s opening, the Friends of the Opera of Michigan led by our good friend Quinto Milito dedicated a beautiful tribute statue and bust of Verdi to the Center. Since we are closing our 64th Season with Verdi’s monumental “Requiem” on Friday, we want to see how many of you can find him!
THE CHALLENGE:
1️⃣ Locate the Verdi statue/bust in the theater.
2️⃣ Snap a selfie or a group photo with the statue.
3️⃣ Post it and tag us on Facebook or Instagram.
Let us know you’ve arrived and help us celebrate 25 years of this beautiful facility and the music that brings us together.
