National Safety Month turns 30 this year, and we’re using this milestone to spotlight something our team does every day: have fun while taking safety seriously.

Safety is no joke, and in fluid power, it starts long before a system is up and running. It starts with daily awareness, smart system design, and the right decisions made from the beginning. That means thinking through proper guarding, pressure relief, component selection, hose routing, labeling, access points, safety gear, and training.

Because a system should do more than work. It should help protect the people working around it.

This Safety Month, we’re proud to recognize the FSC team’s commitment to keeping safety top of mind, on the floor, in the field, and everywhere in between.

is just about to wrap up, but we have a bench full of great builds to share! Whether it's a compact mobile unit or a complex custom build, our team shows up every to keep hydraulic systems running when it matters most. No Gaps. No Games. No Guesswork.

FSC’s engineering team is often brought in when challenges aren’t straightforward. It’s the work that happens at the bench and on the drawings, thinking through how a system will be used and what it needs to handle.

Whether it’s a customized power unit, a test stand, or a single component, experience guides every decision. With FSC engineering on your side, Nothing Can Stop You Now.

What’s inside matters. 👀

At FSC, we rely on trusted components to get the job done, because the right parts mean better performance and reliability. With partners like Bosch Rexroth, Sun Hydraulics LLC, and HydraForce Global (and more!), we build solutions made to handle your operation. No Gaps. No Games. No Guesswork. Just quality - every single time!

What can we build for you?

When Tuesdays feel like Mondays, we bring out the big photos.

Our service team is refurbishing one of the largest manifolds we’ve built — some may even say the largest operational manifold in the state. (If you think you’ve got a bigger one, we’d love to see it in the comments.)

Built with high‑quality components designed to perform in harsh operating conditions, this manifold is getting a quick refresh before heading back to work. Bigger manifolds might not always be better, but they’re definitely cool to see in action.

As we look forward to this Memorial Day weekend, we want to honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today and stands as a lasting testament to duty, courage, and selfless commitment. We remember not only their service, but the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their legacy forward.

In observance of Memorial Day, Fluid System Components will be closed on Monday. Normal operations will resume Tuesday.

This week, the FSC team spent time volunteering with Feeding America, helping pack more than 15,000 pounds of food. That work will fill 650 boxes for elderly individuals in our community through a government‑supported program.

Serving our community is something our team shows up for regularly, and we’re proud of the time and effort they give outside of work to support our community. A simple effort, a meaningful impact, and a good reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose!

Here’s a look at how engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing come together to build a customized solution for our customers.

This system brings together a custom-designed hydraulic power unit and multiple accumulators to create a complete hydraulic solution. The HPU generates the flow and pressure, while the accumulators add stored energy capacity to help the system respond quickly, handle peak demand, and maintain steady performance in the field.

Before it reaches its final destination, our team will put the system through extensive testing and validation to make sure it performs the way it should. It may not look flashy, but once it is in the field, the reliability and performance will speak for itself.

The most expensive place to solve a problem is in the field. So we brought the field into our shop.

FSC designed and manufactured a Hydro Test Stand to support component and system development for the fire industry by recreating the behavior of a fire truck water pump system in a controlled shop environment.

Powered by a 150 HP electric motor with VFD control, the stand allows us to run pumps at variable speeds, simulate fire truck engine oscillations, and maintain precise outlet pressure. It can deliver up to 500 GPM at 500 PSI, with a direct return loop pushing flow closer to 700 GPM through a 150-gallon reservoir.

It also replicates real apparatus foam injection dynamics and includes a custom foam measurement system accurate down to 0.01 gallons. That's a lot of numbers, so I think we should just say "this thing is pretty amazing!"

When we see a gap in how systems are developed and tested, we engineer a solution around it so Nothing Can Stop You Now!
