Four students from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide Campus proved distance is no obstacle by excelling at NASA's RASC-AL competition.
Operating entirely from home across four states, these Eagles built a prize-winning lunar energy prototype without a shared physical lab. Meeting in person for the very first time at the finals, they took home the Best Prototype award and earned the judges' informal distinction for Most Innovative Concept.

Faculty called it exactly what the event was meant to produce: a novel, student-driven solution to a real industry problem.
