The Grand Coquina Condo renovations are nearing completion!

Latest update from the board as of yesterday is, “The fence and gate will be completed tomorrow. We then have to schedule the inspection with both the Health Department and Daytona Beach Shores. If we pass that, then we will be open later this week. It is possible the dog park will remain closed for a few extra days until ADT comes out to install the card reader at the north gate.”

 it’s been a long road, but I think we’re finally coming into the end of the renovations. The new patio area and veranda along the beachfront is absolutely beautiful.

Today, we just received our final permit from Daytona Beach Shores for the condo outdoor renovations for the pool and patio area.

“Beginning today, our surveyor will be on site to start marking where everything is going to go. Tomorrow, a crew will be on site to start the yard cleanup and begin prepping the pool itself. By the end of week, the pool will be filled with water to check for leaks and address any issues before resurfacing. Contractors are currently being scheduled, with active site visits occurring.

With lots of planning still going on behind the scenes, you will see a major ramp up just after the holidays.”

We are all eagerly looking forward to the final improvements as a result of the hurricanes two years ago.
