What determines "expert" analysis? A guy who took a two week course at an adjuster school, or the professional with over 20 years experience? 😉

As contractors, policy is taboo. We concentrate on what is repairable, what is damage and the overall scope of work. Our focus is what it takes to make that property whole again and warrantable. It's up to the carrier to render the bad news in terms of coverage, but if Xactimate (for example) is used to determine the median to mode rates for labor, overhead, profit and material, then a REAL sales rep or project manager has already vetted the property owner, and advised them that making a claim is something you don't enter into w***y nilly, because if there's no coverage for certain items then they WILL have to pay more than just their deductible.
