According to the Dayton REALTORS® MLS, May 2026 brought positive growth across the board:

✅ Home sales increased 5.2% compared to May of last year
✅ Median home price rose to $270,000
✅ Average sale price climbed to $310,923
✅ Total sales volume exceeded $449 million
✅ Homes continued selling at 100% of list price on average

Year-to-date, sales are up 3.5%, while the median sale price has increased more than 6%, showing continued appreciation in home values throughout our region.

We're also seeing more inventory, with new listings up nearly 7% compared to last year, giving buyers more opportunities while sellers continue to benefit from strong property values.
