Mini Therapists are ready to meet new clients.

This one is sort of like “When life gets tough, the tough get going.” I have no idea where I first heard that. I do think it’s helpful to think about resilience and grit after experiencing a fall.

Who are the encouraging figures in your life?

Roger sent me this photo of Marvin when I was at a therapy conference in LA. It may be my favorite pic ever.

I’m a therapist, and I like dogs, and I like making cute and funny things. These creations help me to feel supported and comforted. I’ve connected and coped in this way for as long as I can remember. I hope this quality comes through in the pieces so anyone looking might think, “Hey, that’s kind of cute. It feels like the piece is telling me that I’m ok, special, and worthy.”
