Only time will tell...wishing everyone a nice weekend.

Our Executive Director, Dr. Sonya, was in the region at the time and has published an update on our activities.

Gorilla Doctors wants to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of the people working in frontline response for the current human Bundibugyo (Bun-di-BOO-joh) virus disease (commonly referred to as Ebola) outbreak impacting eastern DR Congo and Uganda.

The health and safety of our team and the gorillas we monitor is our top priority as we work closely with Ministries of Health, park partners, and key stakeholders across DR Congo, Uganda, and Rwanda to minimize the risk of disease transmission for people and eastern gorillas.
