Davis Night Market

We are continuing our tradition of distributing recovered food from the co-op . We will distribute it at 9 PM at Central Park . Please spread the word as wide as it can. We have between 150 and 200 meals to distribute.

Davis Night Market is aware of the upcoming cuts in SNAPS and in effort to mitigate the effects, we urge our community to reach out to events with catered foods to let us know so we can arrange food recovery.

One of the main missions of Night Market is reducing the stigma associated with food insecurity. We do this by attempting to create a warm and welcoming space. As part of the process, when people do actions to transgress the space, we ask for anyone who has had a situation where they feel they have been harmed to come forward and let us know so that we can keep the space safe. You can do so anonymously if you prefer.

Fall colors and Halloween costumes encouraged!! We will have free water, food, Migra Watch cards and red cards. We have limited chairs, please bring a chair or blanket to sit on if you can.

The event will be outside but masks are encouraged :)
