“We’re excited to be an FY26 grantee! Thanks to Arts Midwest, we’ve received $5,000 to bring Caro Pierotto, a world-renowned Brazilian Bossa Nova Singer, who engaged every 7th- and 8th-grade student in the Davenport Community Schools through 9 performances at 5 school locations over 3 days. Pierotto also hosted a workshop for our Sudlow Middle School and Creative Arts Academy dance students.

ArtsBASICS supported students to participate in the Putnam Museum 48- Hour Film Fest! "The Creative Crew" was among 11 area film teams who came together with one purpose; to create a short film in only 48 hours. From storyboarding to scripting, and to filming and editing these teams created an outstanding roster of films for the community's enjoyment. All of their films were featured on their big screen.
