The 1st Annual "Its A Family Affair" was a huge success. I would like to thank everyone that came out and supported me. I am a product of Magnolia and I felt so good giving back to my community. A MOMENT OF REFLECTION :

As I speak to people while out campaigning, Im often asked which bible verse I most refer to. Genesis 50:20 says..."But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive". Many of you may know the story some may not. I lived with guilt, hurt, shame and defeat and I can't lie and say that I didn't question God and I may had even lost a little faith but I remembered growing up in church and "the old folk" used to say " I went down in the valley but i didn't go to stay but my soul got happy and I stayed all day." Today I can honestly say that my soul is happy because he continues to bless me over and over again. To God be the glory for all that he has done and for his future plans for my life. As I transition into a new season of my life; I ask that you continually keep me in your prayers

Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported me last night. I thank you guys for the overwhelming support and taking time out of your busy schedules. When I looked up and saw such a large crowd it really touched my heart. I cannot express enough how moved I am this morning because of you guys. I could not do this without you !!!!
