Kuenz and ABB win TraPac Los Angeles RMG deal Kuenz and ABB have secured an order for nine rail-mounted stacking cranes for TraPac’s terminal expansion in Los Angeles.

The first Liebherr cranes on the USA West Coast are well into assembly.

⚡We are pleased to announce that the conversion to clean electric power for the Packer Avenue "H" Cranes has been successfully completed. This milestone was made possible thanks to a federal USDOT grant and matching funds provided by PhilaPort and Holt Logistics, the private operator of the terminal.

🚛 We now look forward to the next phase: implementing zero-emission cargo handling equipment at the terminal as part of our ongoing efforts to reduce emissions across all our facilities.

Following equipment delivery, final assembly, testing, and commissioning, this ship loader began its initial commerical operations today.

Boos Navarre provided comprehensive procurement services, including configuration feasibility, commercial and technical document development, bid support and evaluation, contracting assistance, design review, manufacturing oversight, commissioning oversight, and project management.

The first A-RTG cranes are up and running in the US. These 50LT RTGs are powered through an electric cable reel system and can be controlled locally on the machine or remotely in a nearby office.

In this ongoing master plan implementation process, Boos Navarre is providing overall project management, equipment procurement, terminal design, site installation and commissioning services, and more.

Site testing and commisioning is underway on the first two of four new ship to shore cranes at a Northeast USA terminal.
