Dog Named David reunited for a concert on Friday night, but it wasn’t our concert; we were in the audience watching Jason Isbell play a solo acoustic opener for Lyle Lovett and his large band. It was great getting to spend time with my buddy and old band mate Fr. John Wallace. We laughed and reminisced. A really fun night.

Recording is in full swing. Harrison McInnis's project is sounding awesome! We're about to start recording vocals on Emily Stuckey's new project. Lee Yankie is also working on a new project that sounds fantastic! Lots of pleasant sound waves floating around the place. What an honor to work with such talented musicians!

Recorded some horns yesterday for Eric Erdman's upcoming project. We had a great time. Project sounds great. Most of it recorded in Muscle Shoals.

"Summer live" break is going well. Picked up a great new shaker in Costa Rica and looking forward to scouring pawn shops around NYC for usable goodies. But mainly I can't wait to get back and finish up Lee Yankie's Hwy 98 Revisited project and start on what's next in line. I've been out of the cave too long. I actually have a tan, which no respectable engineer should sport.

Lots of things happening in the studio. Finishing up a 2 song project for Andrew Van Etten today. Lee Yankie and I are getting really close on finishing his Hwy 98 Revisited project. Annel Robayna and I are close to finishing the first 5 of what will probably turn into a 10 song project in the fall. Everything is sounding great and I'm very fortunate to be able to work with such talented artists!
