TSG Weddings

Once in a while I like to mix it up and throw something personal into the work feed, and this is definitely one of those posts where both worlds collide!

For the past few weeks, my almost 15-year-old son Nate has been asking about coming along to see what I actually do at a wedding. He hears plenty of my client calls, sees me working on my day-of notes, and he DEFINITELY hears me doing music prep around the house. 😂

Yesterday ended up being the perfect opportunity for him to finally check it all out. He was super excited, and truth be told, I was too! He got dressed up in his suit and Mom dropped him off right before the dinner and dancing portion of the reception started.

What made it even cooler was where the wedding was. Floriana in Ipswich is actually the same place where Steph and I got married back in 2008, when it was still called The Hellenic Center.

So yesterday was Nate’s first time seeing where his mom and dad got married AND his first time tagging along with me to see what Dad actually does at “work.”

Pretty cool moment for me.

I’m looking forward to seeing where his interest in all of this goes, and maybe having him tag along again sometime. After doing this for so many years, it was pretty awesome getting to share a little piece of it with my son.

I love when my personal and professional worlds get to mix like this. 💜💜
