Tomorrow is our monthly general meeting. We will be meeting at the picnic tables near the boneyard.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 am followed by the monthly beach clean up.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

On February 4th we lost a special club member, Bob Andersson.

Any, all members, are more than encouraged to checkout this link and leave a message of love and Aloha to Bob and his family. He’s a wonderful soul that gave to the club right up to the very end!!! Even if you leave just a heart emoji or something so the family knows the club loves them.

Last night’s town hall meeting addressing the roundup spraying along the San Juan river bed that leads into Doho was packed and had a great community response. Hopefully we’ll get some change in the future.

We will be having the Boo-heny Longboard Surfing Association’s Halloween Bash on Saturday, November 1st.

This is a fun-casual costume surf event. There I’ll be a costume surf so make sure to get something good going. There will be prizes awarded for
• Best Costume Surfing - Adult
• Best Costume Surfing - Kids
• Longest ride in a costume
• Best wipeout in costume
And more

Costume Surf: 9am to 11am
General Meeting: 11am to 1pm
At the general meeting there will be Awards, Lunch and Beach Clean-up.

A group of environmentalists has partnered to restore the San Juan Creek Estuary in Doheny State Park, bringing together local instructors and students to learn more about the wildlife that inhabits the waterway and about its importance to the ecosystem. Huge thank you to members starting the Picnic Site B renovation. They are doing a lot of the heavy lifting and also co- funding the improvement with us. DLSA are a big part of the Doheny State Beach family. Thanks guys!
