Big shoutout to the Social Studies and ESS departments at DHS! Students were able to experience the Civil War through a combination of technology and live performances. Students got to walk around the battlefields using the Oculus headsets, watch curated videos on iPads and touchscreen boards, view artifacts from the time period, sample traditional foods and listen to stories about the Civil War from live performers. Thanks to the teachers, media center staff and Officer McDaniel for making this event happen!
