1. The Great Fire of London sparked insurance as we know it today. The fire in 1666 destroyed much of the city and led to the creatin of the first fire insurance company, "The Insurance Office".

2. The first car insurance policy was issued in 1898 by Travelers Insurance Company. We've been protecting what matters most for over 125 years!

3. You can insure almost anything - from your vehicles, home, and life, to lesser-known things such as your wine collection or jewelry, and even your body parts! Famous comedian Jimmy Durante had his distinctive nose insured for $50,000.
