The Sew Sisters go out to celebrate Emily’s bday at Fiesta!! Thankful for the friendships they have formed.

A big shout out to Marian Pinson and Esmer Serrato who came tonight and helped the girls learn how to sew their own pillow cases! We had a great time, with wonderful conversation and lots of new skills. We had four new members join tonight.

The Sew Sisters are hyped about getting a new ADA regulation toilet for The Sew Shack making the building completely handicapped accessible. And they boasted that they can even carry it in. Stay tuned for big things coming your way!

Sew Sisters are working hard to get the Sew Shack ready to open! A big shout out to Marie Dills for furniture donation and Ashley Broadrick for material.

The first Sew Saturday was a total success! Most of our girls have funded about half of their machine. If you’d be willing to sponsor one of the ones who hasn’t, please message us.

Thursday is clean up day at The Sew Shack! Join us from 6-8pm.

A big shoutout to Trinity UMC for giving the Sew Sisters a home of their own!!

Welcome to The Sew Shack. I grew up at Trinity and this was always the Boy Scout hut. Many of us watched out the back of the church as boys ran around laughing, going in and out of the doors. I always wanted to join them but the shack seemed special, just for them.

Since those days this shack has been a thrift store and other things but now there will be young people laughing inside its walls again. There will be sewing, lock-ins, art workshops, family fun nights, spiritual retreats and more happening at The Sew Shack!

Please consider helping us furnish it for the girls and others! We need the following:
1. 2 couches
2 Bean bags
3. Comfy chairs
4. Small refrigerator
5. Cleaning materials
6. Standing lamps
7. End tables or coffee table
8. Artwork
9. Outdoor chairs, tables and games.

We will be having a clean up session on Thursday from 6-8pm. Join us!!
