Dallas Fort Worth Film Commissions Win Global Production Awards 06/07/2026

It should come as no surprise that both Dallas and Fort Worth Film Commission's received awards at Screen International's fourth annual Global Production Awards, honoring exceptional and sustainable work in film and TV production.

Dallas was honored with the Economic & Social Impact Award, specifically for its ongoing partnership with the Pegasus Media Project. Film Commissioner Katie Schuck, who was on location in France to accept the award, says it was an acknowledgment of the work the Dallas Film Commission and PMP have done “in advancing workforce development, creative equity, and economic opportunity across Dallas.”

“The Pegasus program is truly transformational, serving more than 800 students annually through a pipeline that supports young creatives starting in middle school and extending through early career opportunities for adults across Dallas and the region,” says Schuck.
