To cultivate young leaders driven towards the eradication of social injustice through social, educational, civil, human and community reform...

05/31/2026

As Karmelo Anthony’s trial approaches tomorrow, we know there will be falsehoods, misconceptions, misinformation, and outside noise surrounding this case.

But the Next Generation Action Network remains focused on one truth: rights are not just for some they are for everyone.

Due process is not just for certain people. A fair trial is not just for certain communities. Justice cannot depend on race, public opinion, or social media narratives.

As we enter this critical moment, we are asking our community to stay focused, stay peaceful, and continue standing with this family.

The trial of Karmelo Anthony is scheduled to begin June 1.

The Next Generation Action Network stands firm in one truth: laws are not just for some races. Rights are not just for some people. Due process is not just for a select few it belongs to all.

No matter your race, color, creed, or background, every person deserves fairness, dignity, and the right to a fair trial.

Let’s stand together for justice, peace, and due process.

Justice for All, Not Justice for Some.

Today, the Next Generation Action Network was honored to stand at Dallas City Hall alongside District 4 Council Member Maxie Johnson and community leaders to advocate for permanent supportive housing and critical investments for veterans and our unhoused community.

For years, Southern Dallas communities have been promised resources, housing solutions, and equitable investment. Today marks a historical step toward ensuring those promises become reality.

As an organization founded in the heart of 75216, NGAN understands firsthand the importance of investing in our people, protecting our most vulnerable neighbors, and creating pathways toward dignity and stability.

NGAN remains committed to pushing the City of Dallas to address the housing crisis with urgency, compassion, and accountability. We believe housing is a human right, and every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity.

Words have power. But action changes lives.

Dallas is at a crossroads.

This moment is bigger than politics, personalities, or protecting a building. This is about protecting the future of our city, protecting working families, protecting city workers, and ensuring Dallas has the financial stability to move forward.

The people of Dallas deserve leadership rooted in truth, transparency, courage, and vision not distractions, chaos, and political theater.

We must fight for our city, not just City Hall.

We’ve fought too hard for representation to let it disappear quietly. This election is bigger than one seat. It’s about making sure that all of our communities are seen, heard, and fought for.

Early Voting is open from 7 AM to 7 PM until this Friday. Go to dallascountyvotes.org to find your polling place!

This runoff is bigger than one endorsement.

It’s about proving that organizing works.

Over the last year, our communities spoke up loudly for working families, peace, healthcare, civil liberties, economic justice, and human dignity. We demanded to be heard. We demanded representation that actually reflects the people of TX-33.

And Colin Allred listened.

Is he perfect? No. But progress has never come from waiting for perfect politicians. Progress comes from people organizing, building coalitions, applying pressure, and refusing to give up on the issues that matter most.

Real change happens when leaders engage with the people, evolve on the issues, and stand with communities that have too often been ignored.

That’s why such a broad and diverse coalition of progressive voices, organizers, workers, advocates, community leaders, and activists is coming together in this moment.

Read through these slides, especially the progressive priorities Colin is now championing, then go vote and support him in this election.

Because progress requires pressure.
Because movements matter.
Because organizing works.

Now we finish the job.
