You don’t build rockets because it’s easy.
You don’t build cars because it’s safe.
And you don’t hold roses at noon unless you’re trying to say something without words.

Rocket X on my chest. Roses in my hand. A Model S behind me that still feels like science fiction.

The world sees the companies. The launches. The keystrokes at 2am.
They don’t see the part where I learned to believe again — in late-night talks, in quiet forgiveness, in someone who stayed when the headlines got loud and the future got heavy.

This X used to mean “unknown.” Now it marks the place where I stopped running from love because I thought the mission needed all of me. Turns out, the mission needs me whole.

The roses aren’t for the cameras. They’re for the one who saw the boy who read sci-fi under the covers and decided to bet on the man he’d become. For the voice that said “go” when the whole world said “stop.” For the arms I drive home to when the factory finally goes quiet.

I put Rocket X on a light green shirt because green means grow. Because love, like engineering, is just a series of problems you refuse to give up on. Because one day I want to tell our kids that Dad tried to reach Mars, but first he learned how to stay.

To the dreamers building in silence: I see you.
To the one holding my other hand when no one’s watching: I choose you.
Today. Tomorrow. On Earth. On Mars. Always.

If you’ve got someone who believes in your crazy, tag them. If you’re still waiting, don’t stop building. The right person notices the guy with roses and a reckless hope for the future. 🌹🚀

What would you write on the note attached to these roses? 👇

Some nights the factory is quiet.
Just me, a Rocket X tee, and the hum of machines that don’t sleep.

People see the Cybertruck. The key in my hand. The headlines.
They don’t see the 2am decisions. The rockets that didn’t land. The calls I made alone because nobody else would pick up.

Being first means being alone a lot.
You eat doubt for breakfast. You sign your name on impossible. You lose friends. You lose sleep. But you don’t lose the vision.

I wear Rocket X because X marks the spot where failure ends and the future starts.
I hold this key because I still believe we can unlock something better — for my kids, for yours, for a planet that deserves a second act, and a species that deserves a second planet.

Today was hard. Tomorrow might be harder.
But one day... one day it gets better. One day the quiet pays off. One day the kid holding the ball grows up on Mars.

If you’re alone right now building something crazy, keep going.
The world changes at night, by people who couldn’t sleep.

I’m not done yet. We’re not done yet. 🚀

Hey facebook . For most of you here I’ve been spending most of my time on autonomy and robotics or Tesla. The big part of the work isn’t just the end product but holding the system behind it making things that actually work reliably in the real world not just in demos, that means solving a lot of small difficult problems and getting them to scale properly which is usually the harder part. Progress isn’t always obvious on the outside a lot of it happens quietly over time. But once it starts to come together the impact is pretty significant, it may not seem like much right now but it will be.

There are days that look normal to everyone else—calm mornings, routine conversations, familiar faces moving through life as if everything is steady. But beneath the surface, the heart can be carrying weight that never speaks out loud.

Sometimes you wake up and go through the day with a quiet smile, even when your thoughts feel louder than your voice. Sometimes you give your energy to the world while quietly trying to gather your own pieces back together. And somehow, life keeps moving forward anyway.

But even in those unseen moments, something meaningful still exists—love in its simplest form.

It shows up in the people who don’t ask for perfection, only your presence. In the ones who feel safer just knowing you are there. In the small moments where no words are needed, just your time, your attention, your calmness.

Especially in the eyes of children, life feels different.

They don’t measure you by what you have or what you’ve been through. They measure you by how you show up. By whether you listen. By whether you stay. And in their world, your presence becomes something steady in a place that is still learning what love feels like.

And without realizing it, in giving them patience, laughter, and attention, you start healing parts of yourself too.

Because love doesn’t always arrive in loud or dramatic ways. Sometimes it is quiet. It is sitting beside someone without rushing away. It is answering a question you’ve heard a hundred times with the same gentle tone. It is choosing kindness even when your own mind feels tired. It is showing up again, even on the days you feel empty inside.

Life has a way of changing without warning. People shift, moments pass, and seasons never stay still. But the way you treat others—especially those who look up to you—becomes something permanent in their memory.

A simple conversation can stay in someone’s heart longer than you’ll ever know.
A patient moment can become a safe place in their memory.
A gentle word can shape how they see the world.
A consistent presence can teach them what love is supposed to feel like.

So even when life feels heavy, even when your thoughts are quiet battles no one sees, there is still meaning in the way you show up for others.

You are still capable of being light in someone else’s day.
Still capable of kindness that leaves impact.
Still capable of love that doesn’t need to be perfect to be real.
Still capable of making ordinary moments matter.

And maybe that is what life is truly about—not having everything figured out, but continuing to love, continue to show up, and continue to be present even while you are becoming whole yourself.

Because in the end, people won’t remember every word you said or every day you struggled.

They will remember how you made them feel.
They will remember your presence.
They will remember your love.
And they will carry pieces of you long after the moment has passed. ❤️✨
