Back in April, Phil had some questions about Christianity following our worship service on Resurrection Sunday.

Fast forward to today, October 12th, and Phil took his first step of obedience as a follower of Jesus!

Here are some highlights from our women's group fall event that was held today.

It was a beautiful time in the Lord, filled with worship, fellowship, testimonies and sharing from God's Word.

1st John 4:19
"We love because He first loved us."

Forgiveness thru Jesus' shed blood on the Cross.

A mother and two sons united together in the family of God.

A new creation in Christ taking that first step of obedience as a follower of Jesus!

So Lord, we have one question, who's next?!?

Aren't we thankful that Jesus doesn't quit searching for that lost sheep UNTIL He rescues it?!?!

Sometimes those rescue missions are shorter than others, sometimes they take many years, but hey, who's counting?!?

Celebrate with us, that even into the latter years of life, the Lord has led Dorothy to take that first step of obedience toward becoming a fruitful follower of Jesus!

Today we celebrated the 65th wedding anniversary of Bud & Charlotte Slocum as part of our worship service.

There have been ups and downs, high and lows, yet, 65 years later, their love and care for each other continues to shine thru!

Ephesians 5:31-32 says this:
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery - but I'm talking about Christ and the church."

Lord, let our marriages, reflect the mystery that has been revealed thru Christ and His Bride, us, the Church!

Can you believe it, the Lord works even on a holiday weekend?!?!

Celebrate with us as Tracy's obedience led to him baptizing his wife Michelle as she took her first step of obedience in following Jesus!

God continues to amaze us here at OCC and we are looking forward to what's in store next!

Sometimes in the church world the Spirit brings a person to the realization that they aren't spiritually safe "in the boat". They can "see the boat", but they become painfully aware they are on the outside, looking in.

However, when that supernatural miracle occurs right before your very eyes and they say, "How do I get on board?" We point them to the Captain - Jesus!
