What a fantastic afternoon at the Adapted Tennis Classic hosted at Las Colinas Country Club! 🎾

We came together to celebrate our incredible adapted tennis players with an afternoon filled with tournament play, skills and drills, great food, and plenty of fun. The event showcased not only outstanding tennis but also the strength of our community and the joy that comes from playing the game we love.

Congratulations to our doubles champions, father-son duo Jerome and Jovann Kung, who captured 1st Place! A big congratulations as well to our runners-up, Johnathan Saucedo and Anna Metts, for their excellent play and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this special event. It was a day filled with great tennis, meaningful connections, and unforgettable memories.

We can’t wait to do it again next year! πŸ’›

What a fantastic Junior Tennis Jam hosted at Frets and North Texas Racquet Club! 🎾

Our players had an amazing time learning the game of tennis, discovering the excitement of Junior Team Tennis, competing in a fun team environment, and building new friendships on and off the court.

We split players into teams, played singles and doubles points, learned scoring and match play, and wrapped up the evening with pizza! πŸ•πŸŽΎ

It was a night full of learning, teamwork, competition, and funβ€”we had a blast!

A weekend of fun, celebration, and community πŸ’™

This past weekend was filled with incredible events celebrating the growth and achievements of our tennis community!

We kicked things off with our annual Junior Tennis Jam, where young players had the opportunity to learn the game, compete in a team environment, and build their skills. It was a fantastic way for players to learn, grow, and have fun on the court.

On Saturday, we hosted our Adapted Tennis Classic, a celebration and tournament to wrap up an amazing Adapted Tennis school year. Players had a blast competing alongside their doubles partners for a chance to take home the win!

We closed out the weekend on Sunday at the 17th Annual DTEA Banquet at the Tower Club, where we honored eleven DTEA seniors as they prepare for their next chapter and recognized our Players and Coaches of the Year. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring the DTEA family together and celebrate another successful year.

More photos and highlights coming soon! πŸŽΎπŸ’™
