Feeling nostalgic… This is me in 1993, 18 with my first set of tables. I got into collecting records by accidentally scratching one of my friends brand new Dubtribe record that he got from Bill‘s Records and Tapes. I drove into Dallas and picked up two copies. One for me and one for him, and that began the journey. I don’t have any pictures of my old gear so I had to borrow some from the web. I already had a bass, guitar and a 4-track cassette recorder in high school. Later, acquiring a Boss Dr. Rhythm and a Gemini sampler.

What was your first piece of gear?

The fine folks kicked off 2026 by sharing the love with this awesome print! Thanks Rick!

Happy New Year!!
Stopped by the store this afternoon and got to pick up some tunes, mostly 7”s this time and a couple of R&B acapellas too. I’m still a sucker for those. Also, dropped off a couple copies of JT Donaldson “Pain”
We recently found a few, so we’ll have some on deck very soon.
Also… got a treat from Dolfin Records in the mail! ✌️♥️
