While the current focus on globalization is on how its growing reality will affect the world economically,
few are discussing how else it will continue to effect the global culture of humanity: It will continue to
affect the arts, the sciences, the spirituality, and the very ecology of our planet. Today we are at a point between countries, religions and cultures where we will either bump into eac

2026 UPDATE of The Memnosyne Institute's Making our Make on Healthcare Disparity"Program

In 2026, The Memnosyne Institute has allocated $10k to the "Making our Make on Healthcare Disparity" initiative lead by Dr. Rene Hymel.

While this is allowing Dr. Hymel to continue his outreach into Louisiana based communities, it is not enough for him to support the work of volunteer doctors he has trained who are ready and willing to replicate his badly needed outreach in other areas. Add to that, the current administrations massive budget cuts to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the termination of major, long-term studies such a s multi-decade diabetes study tracking patients led by Columbia University and the recent administration's cuts to diabetes centered biomedical research, and Dr. Hymel's work is even more timely and necessary to educate populations on reducing their chances for developing this debilitating disease.

Additional funds would enable Dr. Rene Hymel's team to expand educational outreach based on past proven results where his community based strategy has reduced the number of people losing limbs due to a lack of knowledge of what leads to diabetes.

Please consider donating towards this badly needed program's expansion and contact Isabell Welcher Rossignol if you have any questions.

Led by Rev. Dr. Todd Collier, The Memnosyne Institute's FoodSourceUSA program has served throughout the USA, from Hawaii to veterans in
Atlanta to Puerto Rico to Native American reservations in New Mexico to many more communities across the nation. But we need some Texas-sized support to meet the growing needs in the Lone Star state.

We don't compete with existing homeless shelters & food pantries: we serve them by linking them with more donors.

We REFUSE to charge homeless shelters, food pantries & houses of worship for food because we understand that whether they are a tiny mom and pop operation or a much larger effort, they are
already stretched thin to help as many people as possible & if forced to "buy" donated food, that means less mouths fed.

We have saved $65M worth of food from landfills to date
& gotten it to homeless shelters & food pantries.

During the "Texas Freeze" we collaborated with the Carrizo/Comecrudo Tribe of Texas (the Lone Star State's oldest Native American tribe) to serve isolated elderly along the border, getting desperately needed water donated by 7-Eleven.

Our strength is in our diversity of partnerships, who span from all demographics, spanning interfaith, intercultural and economic backgrounds & initiating collaborations both inside Texas and throughout the USA.

100% of our employee's salaries are covered by The Memnosyne Institute, which means 100% of your donation goes directly into the
FoodSourceUSA program, feeding the hungry across Texas and the USA.

While we are proud of saving $65M worth of food from landfills to date, that number could have still been much higher if we had had a budget to cover the cost of trucking.

We already have noticed that the number of hungry is growing and the numerous nonprofits we serve are in need of food of more food, every day.

We anticipate seeing the number of families, elders, Native American reservations, and veterans needing assistance to grow significantly this Fall on through the first of the year

And access to clean water grows ever year as energy is reduced for
families struggling from rising heat every year.

In the summers, we are often the means for children to have meals when school is out. And for those schools no longer offering meals, we are often the source for them as well.

Please help us step up our impact to be of even greater service to BOTH Texas and the USA!
