DASH Network
Texas locals and global neighbors doing life together in Fort Worth. Join us in building community with families seeking asylum! dashnetwork.net/links
🏡 DASH Network exists to provide safe housing, holistic support, and a loving community for asylum seekers navigating the complex legal process of seeking safety in the U.S. Unlike refugees, asylum seekers receive little to no government support while waiting years for their cases to be processed. Your generosity and volunteerism makes a direct impact, ensuring that those fleeing persecution have

A little peek into life at DASH ☕🤍
Jenifer, a volunteer staff member, recently started hosting a weekly ladies tea: just tea, prayer, scripture, conversation, and time to be together.
One thing that surprised her? Many of the women didn’t actually know each other very well yet.
So each week, they’re slowing down, sharing stories, laughing, praying, and building connection little by little.
Sometimes community grows through big moments. Sometimes it grows around a cup of tea.
Tap twice to support connection, community, and belonging. ❤️
Drop a 🎉 or congrats in the comments for this DASH graduate! We’ll be passing along all your encouragement and love.
We’re celebrating a huge milestone: one of our graduates recently graduated from college! We are so proud of his hard work, perseverance, and this incredible accomplishment. 🎓🤍

Last week we hosted a volunteer appreciation breakfast in our courtyard with breakfast burritos, coffee, kids running around, and lots of conversation between residents and volunteers.
DASH wouldn’t be what it is without the people who consistently show up by driving residents to appointments, teaching ESL, helping families settle in, praying, encouraging, and building genuine friendships.
If you’ve ever volunteered with DASH in any capacity: thank you. Thank you for loving our community so well. We’re grateful for every day this ministry gets to exist to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Today our team had the opportunity to tour the new : a free, nonprofit urgent care clinic here in Fort Worth.
This clinic was made possible largely through local churches, many of whom also partner with and support DASH such as and
For our residents, this is huge. Individuals seeking asylum often go without medical benefits or insurance for the first 1–2 years while waiting for work authorization, which can make even basic care incredibly difficult to access.
This clinic will be such a gift; it will meet real, tangible needs and provide care in moments that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
We’re so grateful for what’s being built here and the way the Church continues to show up for our community.

Some goodbyes are especially hard.
This family has been such a meaningful part of the DASH community bringing so much joy, humor, and a heart for worship that has impacted all of us.
After a lot of thought and some really difficult decisions, they’re stepping into a new chapter in another country. We’re holding both the weight of this goodbye and the hope of what’s ahead for them.
We will miss them deeply, and we’ll be continuing to pray for their family as they go. 🤍

Our friends from showed up in such a big way for their annual event, Renew Serve. They helped us transform our courtyard into a space where residents can gather, rest, and build community.
From assembling patio furniture and planting along the courtyard, to cleaning apartments, organizing storage, and creating more space for connection, every detail mattered. Even the kids jumped in, cleaning windows and serving with so much joy.
It was a sweet, meaningful day and a huge step toward bringing this space to life.
We’re so grateful for a community that serves with such care and generosity. Thank you, Hills.

Because everyone deserves to feel celebrated on their birthday. 🎉
A huge thank you to for putting together birthday bags for our residents filled with decorations, small gifts, and thoughtful touches.
These bags are given to parents or roommates ahead of time so they can decorate and celebrate their loved one in a meaningful way. It’s a simple gesture that creates moments of joy, dignity, and belonging for both kids and adults at DASH.
We’re so grateful for a community that sees and celebrates each person so intentionally. 🤍

This is resident V - a father and husband from the Ukraine who recently underwent shoulder surgery.
He’s a welder—someone who works with his hands, his strength, and precision every day. This surgery was necessary, but it’s only the first step.
Now comes recovery.
To return to work and regain full use of his arm, he’ll need ongoing physical therapy.
If you have connections to affordable physical therapy or want to be part of supporting needs like this, we’d love to hear from you. DM here or email [email protected]
This is what rebuilding a life really looks like.
Not just a place to stay, but the support to heal, work, and move forward.

Advocate Dinner at Watermark 🤍
A night full of Uno, challenge games, lots of laughter, and kids having the best time. From keeping balloons in the air to those face-scrunching Oreo challenges, it was nonstop fun.
It was so good to see residents and their advocates just get to be together; people playing, talking, and enjoying the night.
Grateful to for hosting such a joyful evening for our community.

We’re looking to grow our community of Spanish-speaking volunteers.
Clear communication matters, especially when it comes to important conversations around housing, healthcare, legal processes, and daily life.
We’re hoping to build a group of translators who can step in as needed, whether that’s helping on a phone call or supporting in person at the office.
You can serve as little or as often as you’re able—every moment of support helps us care for our residents with clarity and dignity.
If you’re fluent in Spanish and would like to be part of this, we’d love to connect with you. Message us here or email Betsy at [email protected]
