It's that time of year... From May 12-14, the CVSA will be conducting its annual 72-hour inspection blitz! The two major targets this year: ELD Integrity and Cargo Securement.

Driver Focus: ELD Tampering & Falsification.
In 2025, falsified logs - whether caused by a malfunctioning ELD, a lack of understanding regarding federal regulations/exemptions, or purposefully incorrect duty statuses - were the #2 driver violation, with 58,382 violations being issued.

Vehicle Focus: Cargo Securement.
Improperly secured loads can pose a serious risk to the driver and other motorists, and last year 34,162 violations were issued for cargo, vehicle components, or dunnage being inadequately secured.

International Roadcheck is simply a heightened focus on the things we should already be doing throughout the year. A clean inspection means a safer road for everyone.
