When I was growing up my dad told me, never to be afraid to ask for what I want and deserve because the only thing they can tell you is NO. He also told me after that one NO, five more YES will follow.

That one NO may seem disappointing, but it's a reward for your bigger YES that's coming!

🔸Time to improve your health

🔸Time to travel and explore new places

🔸Time to create a work-life balance and stick to it

🔸Time to spend with friends and family

🔸Time to start that new business idea that's been in your journal

You still have six more months left in 2022, plenty of time for you to do you!

Keep going you got this!

Booked and Busy is not always what it seems...

Sometimes booked and busy means overworked, depressed, no sleep, skipping meals, and neglecting self-care.

Make sure your booked and busy standard is set at a pace that is healthy and sustainable.

Take your time and do what works for you!

You don't have to do it all. Wearing all the hats in your business is not sustainable. At some point decide what needs to be done by you, and delegate the rest.

🔸I help overwhelmed business owners serve their clients better by taking over time-consuming tasks, so they can focus on what truly matters: scaling their business and serving their clients.

Overwhelmed & need help? I got you!

🔸Let's chat this week about delegating your time-consuming tasks, so you can have more time to do the things you love!

✔️You took time away from your computer and went on a 30 min walk

✔️You set your out of office email responder for your upcoming day off

Whether it took you 30 minutes or 2 hours to complete, you did it!!

All things that move you forward are progress in reaching your bigger goals.

Thinking about expanding your team? Need help juggling all the things? Here are a few potential tasks a virtual assistant takes care of in your business.

🔸Organizing Files- you can upload a batch of sessions to a Dropbox folder and your virtual assistant can organize those photos by session dates, by the client name, by location, or whatever way makes the process more straightforward for you.

🔸Responding to Emails- your virtual assistant can create canned email responses in your voice and once a lead comes in the VA can send those emails to the leads and track the conversions from lead to active client.

🔸Client Management- your virtual assistant handles all client experience relations by being the main point of contact, sending and responding to all emails, questions, and concerns.

🔸Scheduling Social Media Post-your virtual assistant can curate a monthly content calendar for your photos to be posted to all your social media accounts which will also market your beautiful photos.

🔸Schedule Photo Shoot Sessions- your virtual assistant can set up a calendar booking system for you such as Calendly or Acuity which will eliminate back and forth emails and save you time. Your clients will be able to instantly book their photo sessions with you.

🔸Send Proposals & Invoices- your virtual assistant can prepare proposals and contracts based on a template, and send and track invoices for faster and on-time payments.

There are tons of ways to use Asana, and while we have plenty of recommendations on the “right way,” ultimately, what’s “right” is what works best for your team! If you’re just starting to use Asana, check out our conventions guide and set up a meeting with your team about how you want to use Asana to communicate and collaborate.✨

Asana helps prevent your desk from being covered in sticky notes and highlighters, but that doesn’t mean we got rid of the color. On the contrary, we give you plenty of options to add colors to help you organize your work. You can set a project color to denote the project type, or keep your sidebar organized—just click the project header dropdown and select the color. You can also set colors for custom fields.

This helps teammates easily scan information by glancing at the color. If you have custom fields, you could use red for “on hold,” yellow for “in review,” and green for “complete.”✨

Deadlines tell you when work is due, but all too often we wait until the last minute, or let it fall off the radar if we have too much lead time. ⏰ Instead, you can use start dates to help you pace your work and ensure project plans give teammates enough time to complete their work!

Remember when a project got delayed because a designer didn’t get looped in? 🤦🏾‍♀️
Or that time an email didn’t get tested because everybody assumed someone else had done it? Creating clear processes and maintaining them can be tedious… until you harness the power of Asana to help you do it!

Sometimes work isn’t confined to one project—like a blog post you’re tracking in your editorial calendar and for an upcoming marketing campaign. Save time by duplicating the tasks (and work), just add it to both projects. That way, work and updates are tracked in the same place, but other stakeholders can see it in the project that makes the most sense for them.

Your blog reviewer can easily access the draft from the editorial calendar project, and your project manager can scan the project to make sure content is on track.

Want to get your colleague’s attention on a task? Link to other work? Make it easy to share a project? Just type @ and the name of the person, task, or project you want to link to in Asana. For teammates, it generates a notification (aka “pings them”). For tasks and projects, it links you to the work in Asana. No more wondering if your teammate saw your message or sending out dozens of reference documents✨
