The Meagan Rough Memorial Fund and MAYDAY5KGLOW is dedicated to the memory of Meagan "May" Rough, who was tragically killed in Lubbock, Texas on December 6th, 2012. May, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was ejected from the car even though she was wearing a seat belt. She was a full time pre-med student at Texas Tech University and made an incredible impact on everyone she knew. May wan
ted to make a difference in the world and sought ways to make her life more meaningful. To carry on the desires of May's spirit in a significant and lasting way, her family has established the MEAGAN ROUGH MEMORIAL FOUNDATION. She felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue her faith and academic goals. She strongly believed that faith, opportunity, development of self-confidence, and the support of her family, friends and mentors along the way, were keys to her personal achievements and ability to help others. She would be pleased to know opportunities for others were being provided in her memory. Please help us remember May's love of life and her personal determination.
