Forthcoming Tenebrarum: We are proud to announce the upcoming re-edition of the legendary 1991 ABSU demos, “Return of the Ancients” and “The Temples of Offal”, uniting once again under the banner: ABSU – The Temples of Offal / Return of the Ancients – Remastered 35th Anniversary Edition (CD/LP 2026)

Set for release in 2026 on both CD and LP formats, this definitive edition celebrates the origins of one of the most visionary and truly legendary forces in U.S. death & black metal history.

As a label, we are deeply honored to have the opportunity to work with ABSU and to pay tribute to their timeless legacy.

The recordings have been newly remastered to enhance their sonic impact while preserving every ounce of rawness and primordial energy that defined the original sessions — no modern sterilization, only amplification of their ancient power.

A new cover artwork has been created, channeling the same occult essence of the early era, this time brought to life by Monica Mey. The layout and design are handled by Ray Heflin “Equitant” Art and Francesco Gemelli Gemelli, ensuring a presentation worthy of this milestone. Remixed & remastered by Equitant at Agurak Studios.
