Some people called me and said, " I am a fashion designer and will open a fashion line in the market, could you make patterns and sew the samples for me?" Usually I will try to get around to saying "yes".
I graduated from fashion design and have been working in fashion and tailoring for fifteen years, I am still confused if I could call myself fashion designer. For me a fashion designer is not to just draw a sketch, fill the color, and playing materials. A fashion designer should know how to sew, how to make patterns, how to drape and understand the different tapes of a figure.
For this picture I am not just telling I am able to design, but I am also showing you my sewing abilities.
Also the girls in my eyes always are pure, focus, gorgeous and still keeping the old class.

When you are young you always want to grow up, that is why your daughter always want to wear your style. For me no matter how young your daughter is, she can wear the same design, same fabric, same color as you, but not same pattern.
Last year I made all the dresses for middle school orchestra. I took more than forty girls measurements, from age 12--14, and I classified 7 sizes. The largest size was for a girl who is 5'7 but if you look at the pattern, it is still different with adults. Because they are not completely grown up. When I make the pattern for girls I mostly use a straight line. This is because when you choose lady's wear for your young girl, they would have too much bumpy extra fabric on her body:)
