Facebook updated the News Feed ranking rules for video. We've updated our News Feed Algorithm Change history to reflect this.
In short:
1 - Videos must inspire loyalty and videos that get users to search for them and find them again and again will get more reach.
2 - Videos must be at least one minute long and Facebook has finally officially announced they will reward videos that are at least 3 minutes or longer (i.e. FB can show mid-roll ads in)
3 - Videos that are deemed to be original and not memes or duplicated clips will get more reach.
