Join us in welcoming Hunter Ralston, our newest associate attorney, to the team!

Hunter is a trial attorney, representing plaintiffs and defendants in significant disputes. His practice generally focuses on business litigation, product liability matters, wrongful death, serious personal injury, and construction disputes.

Hunter graduated magna cm laude from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Economics. Following college, he earned his law degree with cm laude honors from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He honed his advocacy skills in mock trial and moot court competitions and was named the “Top Gun” champion of the school’s voir dire (jury selection) competition. In addition to his academic honors, Hunter was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a prestigious national honor society which recognizes graduates who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.

Before joining the firm, Hunter practiced with a prominent full-service law firm in Dallas. He also served as an extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Renee H. Toliver of United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Martin Hoffman of 68th Judicial District Court of Dallas County.

We are proud to announce that Eric Freedman has joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Eric is a litigator focused on using his legal background and real-world experience to create positive outcomes for his clients. After earning his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, Eric spent seven years in Florida representing medical providers and hospitals in cases involving allegations of medical malpractice. He gained invaluable experience in the courtroom as a young attorney, handling cases from inception through trial. In 2021, Eric moved to Dallas, Texas where he operated a regional trucking company and served as in-house counsel there, broadening his legal background.

Eric is a trial lawyer at heart, however, and joined Burke Bogdanowicz PLLC to get back to doing what he loves. Eric has managed hundreds of cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and business disputes. His experience as a business owner makes him particularly sympathetic to clients, as he is acutely aware of the issues they face on a daily basis.

Jason is a trial lawyer with experience representing clients in business disputes, personal injury matters, wrongful death, and more across Texas. He is a coach at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where he teaches students trial and arbitration advocacy and evidence law.

Jason earned his law degree at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. As a student, Jason competed at the national level on multiple mock trial, arbitration, and moot court teams. He was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a nationally recognized honor society for outstanding student advocates and received the Fred C. Moss award given to the top student advocate in his graduating class. Since graduating, Jason has either tried or assisted on over ten state and federal jury trials, ranging from business disputes, cases involving fraudulent transfer, and personal injury.

Prior to law school, Jason served in the United States Navy and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal for his contributions to mission readiness while serving on the flagship of the east coast fleet, the USS Enterprise. In his free time, he enjoys spending time traveling, exploring nature, and spending time with his family and loved ones.

We are looking for an attorney with 2 - 10 years of civil litigation experience to join our team. Familiarity with business disputes (contracts, trade secrets, fiduciary duty claims, partnerships, etc.), product liability, finance/banking, and/or construction disputes preferred. Prior experience handling high-exposure insurance defense matters involving directors, officers, professional liability, and/or product liability is also welcome. Preferred candidates should have prior experience handling oral argument, depositions, and trials at the state and/or federal level. Strong writing skills are required. Candidates must have an active Texas law license.

Our associate attorneys enjoy hands-on experience. We typically staff our cases lean (one partner, one associate, one paralegal) and then utilize team assistance in the event of large-scale projects requiring more hands on deck (e.g., high-volume document production). Associate attorneys routinely interact directly with clients and are expected to take depositions, argue hearings, and try cases as a first or second chair.

Salary is dependent on experience ($125,000 - $200,000). Associate attorneys who bill at least 1,650 hours are eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. Additionally, associate attorneys earn an automatic $3,500 bonus each quarter if they meet or exceed 500 billable hours, for a potential total of $14,000 each year (Q1-Q4). The firm offers health/vision/dental insurance, matching 401k, paid bar dues, and a flexible work/vacation schedule.
