It is with great sadness I share that juggler Bobby Hartman has passed away. He taught my teammate Jonathan Root how to juggle 5 balls. He performed beside us at local events around San Diego as well as being a teacher at the Fern Street Circus (Fern Street Circus Alumni & Previous Members Association (FSC APMA). He was also the creator of The San Dieguito Manipulation Society, the local juggling club where we (Rootberry), Jeff King, Sean McKinney, Corey Connors, and many others regularly congregated to share notes on the art of juggling. He was one of our early guides on the pathway that led us to the International Jugglers' Association - IJA competitions.

He gave countless 1000's of hours to juggling and it's practitioners, and he impacted many lives.

Thank you Bobby, for everything.

708 pages, 160,422 words, first draft of book 2 is complete. Now, it's back to word one to do another full round of edits. Along the way I'll be sharing some of the stories here so ya'll can join in the process. Your thoughts and comments help guide the work, so I'm excited for that conversation to begin. Once the second edit is complete, it'll go to my amazing editor , she'll give me her notes and it'll get a third full rewrite (this is where I'll need some beta readers if anyone wants to volunteer. I'll send you a free signed copy of the finished work as thanks :). Then it goes back to Amy one last time for any final grammatical tightening. Still a long ways to go, but the first of the milestones has been reached.

The rough draft for book number two, the story of Rootberry, just broke 100,000 words. I'm on part 39 of an outline containing 128 parts. Still gonna be a minute before I have something to show, but it's cruising along nicely.
