We are excited to celebrate Intern Day by highlighting their recently completed intern project!

The annual Intern Week project asked our interns to reimage Exposition Plaza – an underutilized site near and dear to our office - as a reactivated intersection between two major downtown districts. Their concepts explored connections to the surrounding community while tackling traffic and pedestrian challenges. The results were an impressive and thoughtful design - a true reflection of what intern week is meant to be, a hands-on immersion in the creative and collaborative process that defines life at Studio Outside.

Studio Outside is proud to be working with The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to envision and plan Post Oak Ridge State Park—Texas’s newest state park. Spanning more than 3,000 acres across the Colorado River from Colorado Bend State Park, the site offers a rare opportunity to create a park from the ground up. Supported by the Centennial Parks Conservation Fund, the park’s development is being shaped by input from public engagement sessions and online surveys. We invite you to share how you’d like to use, experience, and enjoy this unique Hill Country landscape.
