The left and center are new paintings

I had a special studio visit the other day, and hung some of my newer work, some for the first time. Here’s one view.

Sometimes a painting grows like a night garden — unexpected, tangled light, and colors that emerge in layers from beneath the surface. This is one of several new pieces I haven’t posted, and also not titled as yet. 30”x40”and available at my studio.

Loved seeing old friends and meeting some new ones last night for New Texas Talent 32! So many people, and a really fun opening!

Honored to share that “The Grace That Spilled” has been selected for New Texas Talent 32 at Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas. This piece poured out of a quiet, liminal space—where sky meets land, memory meets myth. Grateful to be showing alongside so many compelling Texas artists.

Thrilled to share that Dancing Barefoot was selected for this year’s Art For Advocacy—an event close to my heart that supports children impacted by abuse. This piece was born from instinct and movement, a kind of wild joy that comes when you let go and trust the ground beneath you. Painted with bare hands and intuition, it’s a tribute to resilience, vulnerability, and the power of showing up barefoot and real.

Tin District Open Studios was great! Amazing to run into old and new artist friends, and see so much inspiring art! Artist Liz King is very good at selfies (glad, because, I am not). .art (even though I missed seeing you!)

“Where My Wild Things Are” is my dance of chaos and harmony where explosive hues collide and intertwine, evoking the raw spirit of creation, and the sheer vibrancy of being.
(Also, attempting to try to be optimistic with the song…)

“Here To Forever” is a reflection of movement, energy, and emotions that linger beyond a single moment. This painting came to life through layers of color and instinct. When I step back, I see both chaos and harmony-just like life itself!
